Welcome 2012-2013 School Year!

Welcome to the Gibbons PTA website. The Gibbons PTA provides the school with funding for activities for all of our children. Some of these activities include field trips and bus transportation. Funding for extra trips for the Music Department and also trips to encourage Team Building, we have our Parent Child Nights (you should try to attend, kids love it), as well as having special in school activities those include visits from special children authors. We also supply students with folders and agendas for the school year. These are just a few of the things that the PTA funds. We also fund some of the extras that some think the town may pay for, but we are proud to say we do. Mulch for the playgrounds (its our mission to make sure every child is safe) as well as mulch for the grounds (we love our school looking its best). We are proud to help our school, teachers and your children in what ever way we can, this is why we also offer every teacher that is a PTA member reimbursement for a portion of the supplies that they buy out of pocket. Your children's happiness and success is important to us. We are a proud School and PTA and love that we can do all of these things for our children.

With your help we are looking forward to the 2012-2013 school year being the best the Gibbons has ever seen. If you have any ideas, comments or suggestions, please we want to hear from you. Communication is essential, we like to keep the lines open. PTA Committees
Please checkout the committees webpages once the school year begins. Any and all parental involvement is warmly welcomed in order to make these a success. Please consider joining one. Some committees are year round while others are only for specific times of the year. Any help is greatly needed and appreciated! If you see something of interest please either contact a PTA officer or leave a note in the PTA mailbox.

PTA Events
Once the school year begins you will find a list of PTA events that will occur throughout the school year.  Events are run to fundraise as well as to provide enjoyment for the children.  If you are not able to help on one of our ongoing committees, please consider helping out at one of these events.  Your help is needed to make these a success!!  Any and all help is needed and appreciated whether it is for an hour or the whole event.
